She strives to go the extra mile in everything that she does, which shows in the continued success of the Idaho Arts Charter School. IACS has received numerous awards and grants over the past 9 years. She also serves on the Arts Schools Network Board which is a national organization of “arts” schools. Jackie and her staff are always willing to help other charter schools with start up or financial questions.  In her free time, Jackie enjoys skiing and traveling, but most of all spending time with her two grandchildren.
Blossom Johnston – J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation    Blossom graduated from the Kamehameha Schools and Boise State University and has worked in many sectors including government, health care, business, and education. In her current role with the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation, Blossom provides oversight for the foundation’s charter school efforts including their new approach to supporting schools of choice. In their truest form, she views charter schools, and other schools of choice, to be ways to personalize education and to help all students thrive and love learning. When not working, Blossom invests in relationships with her husband, family and friends, as well as serving with faith-based and community organizations.

Under Jason’s leadership I-DEA has strived to achieve academic excellence and has received a 5 star rating for multiple years. Jason believes that charter schools should be centers of innovation, and that they can motivate system-wide improvements in education. With his free time Jason enjoys playing sports, hunting, church activities, and playing with his children.
