Charter school leaders joined the Idaho Charter School Network at regional meetings and opened themselves and their schools to visits by Terry Ryan and me over the last few months. Most also participated in a recent Charter School Support Survey. The survey, regional meetings, school visits, and discussions with ICSN board members and many other stakeholders have provided us with great information about the challenges facing Idaho’s charters and the opportunities available to the Network to help better support and advocate for your schools.
We’ve posted a summary of our key findings around support for charter schools in Idaho. These findings are important in helping us develop our programs and initiatives. They are also important to our long-term sustainability as a professional organization. We hope our school leaders and stakeholders will take a few minutes to review the summary and provide us with any feedback. The Network would happily arrange calls to answer any questions you might have about the findings and to discuss ideas for moving forward.
